Bulldog Abrasives have been presented with the 2021 SATA Importer of the Year award.
This is the first time in SATA’s history that this prestigious award has been presented to a partner in Africa.
The 12-year partnership between Bulldog Abrasives and SATA started in 2010 when they were selected as the sole importer of SATA products in Southern Africa.
Mr Albrecht Kruse, CEO of SATA Holding GmbH, commented that since the partnership started, Bulldog Abrasives has extended and firmly placed the SATA Brand into the market to become a trademark in the car refinishing segment.
“As a result, you also generated continuous and sustainable growth as a whole company, with all the prestigious products and brands you have in your portfolio despite the country’s difficult economic situation,” said Kruse.
Despite challenges, the outstanding leadership, consistent hard work, and creativity have resulted in Bulldog Abrasives being named Importer of the Year for several reasons:
- An astonishing recovery of +82% in 2021, compared to 2020 and exceeding the 2019 turnover.
- Excellent service to customers and partners by taking every customer complaint very seriously, thus showing adequate appreciation.
- Furthermore, Bulldog Abrasives showed great flexibility in replacing the SATAjet 3000 B Blue successfully with the SATAjet 1500 B to continue conquering the B-Segment.
The SATA Importer of the Year trophy, a Golden SATAjet X5500, was handed over during a virtual ceremony to express gratitude and appreciation for the trusting, dependable and committed partnership between SATA and Bulldog Abrasives.
The Bulldog Management team are exceptionally appreciative and delighted with this significant award.
