Carsystem, a leading supplier of automotive refinishing products and equipment, has been providing high-quality products and services to the automotive industry since 1964.
As part of our Supplier Spotlight series, we spoke with three key members of the Carsystem team: Steven Lück, Head of Application Engineers; Jochen Rohde, General Manager; and Max Voss, Head of the Automotive Department.
Steven Lück has been with Carsystem since 2015 and is responsible for traveling and visiting customers and partners, presenting products, training, optimizing processes, and taking care of technicians in Germany. He started his education as a car painter and was approached by Carsystem to join their team. Lück noted that his greatest achievement so far was the trust the company put in him by promoting him to Head of Application Engineers last year. He is very passionate about cars and anything that has wheels and an engine.
Jochen Rohde, General Manager of Carsystem, has been with the company since 2004 and as a customer since 1991. Rohde is in charge of the Carsystem brand and has been through every department of the company. He founded his own company in 1991 by selling body fillers from VOSS.
A particularly memorable experience in Rohde’s career, was a VOSS Carsystem event in Poland in 1999 when he met the owner of Carsystem and was impressed by their family-run business values.
Max Voss is the third generation of the Voss family in the company and has been with Carsystem since 2015. He is in charge of everything that happens with Carsystem products and has been through every department of the company but spent the majority of his time in the industrial department focusing on glass-reinforced plastics.
Voss noted that his greatest achievement so far has been his promotion to Head of Automotive. He is very passionate about his job and enjoys everything about it.
When asked if they could switch lives with anyone for a day, Lück said he would like to swap lives with someone famous like an actor as they have very interesting lives. Rohde said he would not swap his life with anyone as he loves his life. Voss said if his grandfather were still alive, he would change his life with him for a day to see what is on his mind.
